“He has the whole package” – Journalist predicts summer transfer tussle for Leicester City player

Mads Hermansen has been impressive for Leicester City this season.

He’s already equalled David de Gea’s record for most saves in a single game, denying Arsenal 13 times earlier in the season. The stopper also impressed against West Ham two days ago.

The 24-year-old has played 14 Premier League games this season and has emerged as one of the most reliable shot stoppers in the English top-flight.

There is now an early indication from Denmark that bigger clubs could come calling for the Leicester City man in the summer.

BT journalist Lasse Voge told the outlet yesterday: “I will personally be surprised if there is no rift over Hermansen’s signature this summer. Regardless of whether Leicester are relegated or not.”

Praising the goalkeeper further, the journalist stated that Hermansen can become world class in the future.

“I was personally excited to see if he could take the level from the Championship up to the world’s best league. He has taken that step as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

“And with the level he is now at, not many further steps are needed before he is right up among the best goalkeepers in the world. He has the whole package – also the game with his feet.”

Considering this is the Dane’s first ever season in the Premier League, he has come a long way already and if his performances stay the way they are, his reputation will go up.

The Leicester star has acquired experience of playing in European competitions during his time at Brondby and that can be a vital factor for potential suitors.
