Manchester United and Arsenal will face off in the FA Cup third round

The blockbuster clash between Arsenal and Manchester United is among the FA Cup third round matches picked for television.

Arsenal beat United in the Premier League on Wednesday, but Ruben Amorim's side will have a chance for revenge in North London in January. The match has been moved to Sunday January 12, with kick-off at 3pm.

It is one of six games chosen for TV, with Sunday's earlier fixture seeing Tottenham Hotspur take on non-league Tamworth. Spurs and Tamworth will be in action on ITV, with Arsenal and United on the BBC.

Elsewhere, Liverpool have been handed another lunchtime kick-off, hosting Accrington Stanley on January 11. The evening fixture on the same day sees Manchester City up against Salford City, with the visitors hoping for an evening giant-killing.

There are also Friday and Monday fixtures as teams from the Premier League and Championship enter the cup. Friday's tie is an all-Premier League affair with Aston Villa hosting West Ham, while Monday night's fixture involves the second remaining non-league side, Dagenham & Redbridge, for their trip to Millwall.

Last season's final saw Manchester United beat neighbours City at Wembley, but the holders face a tough task when they begin their defence. After Wednesday's defeat, new head coach Ruben Amorim was asked how his team might be able to improve in their rematch against Arsenal.

"Set pieces. That is important," he told Amazon Prime Video Sport. "And we have to be more aggressive near the opponent's box. But we have a lot to improve in all areas of the team."

Tamworth's match with Spurs is their reward for overcoming a Burton Albion side two divisions above them in round two. "It's like a reward for the last two and a half years for everyone involved," manager Andy Peaks told BBC Radio WM after the draw was confirmed.

"It’s just a shame that we can’t get more than 4,000 people in The Lamb. Just me alone I must have already been asked for 4,000 tickets.

"I was quite happy to have a home draw or a really big game away. And some of the ties I didn’t really fancy, a long way away and a bit tough. But I just had a feeling when the number 53 came out and I looked at the faces of the ones who were pulling the balls out and they knew it was a big team."
