After an impressive month where she scored in each of our Women’s Super League matches, Guro Reiten has been named the Player of the Month for November.
Reiten scored in our victories against Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United. Her contributions helped the Blues extend our winning run to eight games from eight in the league – where we now sit five points clear at the top of the table.
Against Everton, the Norwegian international netted our third in a 5-0 win before scoring our second goal in respective 3-0 and 2-0 victories against Liverpool and Man City. She marked her 100th league appearance for Chelsea by scoring the match-winner from the penalty spot in our win over the Red Devils.
Her goal against Manchester City – a delightful curling strike – was nominated for November’s Goal of the Month award.
Reiten was named Player of the Month having been nominated alongside team-mate [Mayra Ramirez](/en/teams/profile/mayra-ramirez), Steph Catley (Arsenal), Alessia Russo (Arsenal) Katrina Gorry (West Ham), Anna Patten (Aston Villa), and Khadija Shaw (Manchester City).
Well done, Guro!
