Juventus will meet Manchester City in the Champions League Round 6 this coming Wednesday, but the Serie A and Premier League giants have also been paired in the 2025 Club World Cup group phase.

Juventus will host Bologna in a must-win Serie A match tomorrow, so Motta hasn’t discussed the Manchester City fixture.

“We’ll talk about the [Manchester City]game in a few days, and now we are focused on Bologna,” Motta said at a press conference.

“However, it will be a nice competition, with great games. It’s still a long way to go, but when the moment comes, we’ll be ready to play a great competition, trying to do our best and compete against all our opponents. In the end, as usual, we’ll want to have the result on our side, which is what matters.”

Wydad AC and Al Ain have also been included in Group G alongside Juventus and Manchester City.

Juventus and Manchester City have earned eight points in five Champions League matches this season and are currently outside the top eight, which gives direct access to the Round of 16.

During his pre-match press conference, Motta confirmed that Juventus’ best scorer, Vlahovic, would return to action against Bologna after missing the last three games across all competitions.
