Inter Milan and Bayern Munich target Jonathan Tah is close to agreeing a move to join Barcelona.
This according to Spanish outlet Jijantes.com. They report that Barcelona Sporting Director Deco recently met with the Bayer Leverkusen defender’s agent.
Tah looks set to be one of the big free transfer opportunities of next summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old is out of contract with Leverkusen at the end of next June. And he will not sign an extension.
Inter are reportedly keen on Tah’s signature.
The German would fill a priority position for Inter at the heart of the back three. He is familiar with the role from his time at Leverkusen, and could replace aging veterans Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi.
Meanwhile, there have also been strong links with Bayern.
This is little surprise. The Bavarians have a long track record of signing top players from domestic rivals.
