City's FA Cup clash with Salford to be broadcast live

City's historic FA Cup third round tie against Salford City will be screened live on BBC 1 and BBC iPlayer.

It will be the first ever competitive meeting between the Blues and Salford who are one of our nearest neighbours, with just five miles separating the two clubs.

It is the first time Salford, part-owned by former Manchester United players Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt and David Beckham, have made it through to the third round.

The match will be played on Saturday, 11 January with a kick-off time of 17:45 (UK) for TV coverage on BBC 1 and BBC iPlayer.

TV listings for City fans around the world will be published in our Match Preview and global viewing guide on the run up to the game.

Ticket details will be released in due course.
