Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is currently set to LEAVE the club at the end of the season. The 32-year-old has got an expiring contract in summer 2025 and so far no breakthrough has been made over a new deal.
Earlier this week it was reported that the Egyptian King was exasperated at the way things were going with the club and was willing to accept a one-year extension in order to remain on Merseyside.

Salah again demonstrated his importance to the side on Wednesday night, scoring two and assisting one as Arne Slot’s men fought back from 1-0 down to gain a draw at Newcastle United.
That followed a weekend starring role where Salah both scored and assisted in the game against Manchester City at Anfield.

PSG claims made
Following that game, news broke in France which claimed that Paris Saint-Germain had instigated contract talks with Salah over a deal to join them at the end of the season.
While the forward has been most heavily linked with Saudi Arabia, PSG are one of the prime European suitors for Salah. With no replacement yet in place for Kylian Mbappe, PSG require star quality up front with Salah among the candidates for that flagship role.
However, those reports were DENIED earlier this week by club president Nasser al-Khelaifi, who claimed that no such negotiations had taken place.

And at the FIFA Club World Cup draw, president Nasser followed up those comments, admitting that while he LOVES Salah as a player, no talks had been conducted with his entourage.
"I love Salah, also because he came from our part of the world,” the Qatari billionaire told GIVEMESPORT. “I am very proud of him, honestly, for what he's done in the Premier League with Liverpool.
"And I have big respect for him and for Liverpool. So we never talked to him. Respect Liverpool and respect the player - he has a contract with Liverpool and we never talked to him."
