Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed when he expects to have Vinícius Jr. back at his disposal.
Wide-man Vinícius has for his part of course been sidelined since late last month.
After seeing out the entirety of Real’s 3-0 La Liga downing of Leganés, the Brazilian international was subsequently diagnosed with a muscular injury in his thigh.
Vinícius, in turn, has been forced to sit out Los Blancos’ last three outings across all competitions.
And his absence has certainly been felt, the Spanish champions having been condemned to defeat at the hands of both Liverpool and Athletic Club.
All of a Real persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be thrilled to hear of their side’s attacking talisman closing on an imminent return to the pitch.
Speaking during a press conference ahead of his side’s upcoming meeting with Girona, Carlo Ancelotti was asked for an update on Vinícius’ wellbeing.
And the Italian tactician went on to confirm that:
“Vinicius will return for Atalanta (on Tuesday December 10th).”
