Robert Vilahamn has confirmed that Ella Morris is set to for a spell on the sideline with a Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) injury.
The defender, who earned a call-up to the England Under-23s for the November international break, withdrew from the Young Lionesses camp last weekend after suffering an injury in their goalless draw with Norway.
Ella, who has featured in three WSL games this season, returned to the Club earlier in the week for rehabilitation and Robert Vilahamn was asked to provide an update on the 22-year-old.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, he said: “Ella suffered an injury with the Young Lionesses and, unfortunately, it’s an MCL injury, so she will be out for around 10-12 weeks.
“It’s unlucky because she was really upcoming here.”
