Lazio are set to welcome back Boulaye Dia and Nuno Tavares to the fold after a stint on the sidelines. The duo should be available for the weekend trip to Napoli.
The Background
The Portuguese left-back has been out of action since his return from international duty. Shortly after earning his senior Portugal debut, he picked up a muscular problem that ruled him out of action for several weeks. On the other hand, the Senegalese striker received a blow to the ankle during the Europa League draw against Ludogorets which cut his night short. He had to skip the Serie A contest against Parma as well as the Coppa Italia clash against Napoli.
Boulaye Dia & Nuno Tavares Return for Lazio
But according to La Lazio Siamo Noi, the treatment room at Formello is beginning to empty, as Dia and Tavares should make their return to action this weekend. The two summer signings are expected to join their teammates on the trip south as Lazio prepare to take on Napoli just three days after besting them in Coppa Italia.
Only Matias Vecino Left
Marco Baroni has already regained the services of Gaetano Castrovilli who made his return in the cup tie, coming off the bench in the final 20 minutes. Matias Vecino thus remains the solitary injured player at the club, while Nicolo Rovella will miss the encounter at the Maradona Stadium due to a one-match ban.
