Arsenal have had some seriously talented left-footed players over the year and still do with the likes of Bukayo Saka.
Mesut Ozil is another left-footer who has come and gone from Arsenal over the last decade with a wand of a touch on him.
Players like Saka have enamoured themselves with the fans in north London with his left foot providing a lot of moments to cherish during his young career.
Jorginho tips Saka to win the Ballon d’Or during his career having now played with the winger at the Emirates for over a year.
But when it comes to striking the ball, there is one former Arsenal forward who has now claimed he had a better left foot than Robin van Persie.

Speaking to TalkSPORT, Lukas Podolski has suggested his left foot strike was even better than Van Persie.
During a game with the social media team on TikTok, Podolski was asked to keep his eyes shut until he heard a player’s name who had a better left foot than him.
And there were some huge names from the history of European football which Podolski backed himself against.
The German remained with his eyes shut throughout the game with the following players being mentioned:
Arjen Robben
Robin van Persie
Hulk
John Arne Riise
Erling Haaland
Gareth Bale
Roberto Carlos
Podolski recently praised Arteta for his tactical nouse shown during his playing days with the Gunners.
The 39-year-old has now retired away from the game, but it seems as if he looks back on his career with a lot of pride after Podolski left Arsenal for just £1.8m.
Robin van Persie massively outscored Lukas Podolski at Arsenal
Van Persie’s time at Arsenal may not be looked back on in the same way following his move to Manchester United.
However, Theo Walcott said Van Persie was a better finisher than Thierry Henry which shows just how highly his teammates thought of him.
And when it came to finding the back of the net, there was no competition between the Dutchman and Podolski.
