As per reports from [90min Football](https://www.90min.com/renee-slegers-remain-arsenal-interim-head-coach-until-christmas), Arsenal interim head coach Renée Slegers is understood to remain in charge up until the Christmas break. This means the _Gunners_ will be under the leadership of Slegers for games against Aston Villa and Liverpool in the Women’s Super League (WSL), as well as UEFA Women’s Champions League matches with Valerenga and Bayern Munich later in the month.

Slegers took control of the Gunners following Jonas Eidevall’s resignation in late October, and is yet to lose a single game in charge of the North London club.
Speaking to the media ahead of Arsenal’s Women’s Super League (WSL) game with Aston Villa at Emirates Stadium this weekend, Slegers confirmed _“I’m happy to contribute to the team. I was really happy in the role I was contributing in before, and now I’m stepping in doing this.”_
When asked whether or not she wants the job on a permanent basis, Slegers was reserved when answering _“I’m happy to contribute to the team. I was really happy in the role I was contributing in before, and now I’m stepping in doing this.”_
