Agent throws a strop and now considering agreeing big move to Manchester United

Alphonso Davies’ agent Nick Househ has been left angry by Bayern Munich’s attitude during contract negotiations, so now wants to listen to offers from Manchester United and Real Madrid.

That’s [according to journalist Christian Falk](https://x.com/cfbayern/status/1865068299941277777), who says Manchester United may not be as far out of the picture for Davies as it appeared.

A report yesterday stated that talks between Bayern and Davies had started to progress and were going well, with Manchester United informed he was likely to sign a new deal in Bavaria and not head elsewhere.

The defender has been linked with a departure from Bayern for months as his contract expires in the summer and he’s yet to sign a new deal. Manchester United are believed to see him as an ideal addition to sort their longstanding problems at left-back.

A move could now be back on the cards as Falk reports that Davies’ agent, Househ, has been left angry by the way Bayern are conducting negotiations.

He even went as far as to cancel a trip to Munich to talk to the club. They were instead held via video session, but Bayern director Max Eberl did not attend. This surprised Davies’ camp.

Thus Househ ‘now wants to listen’ to the offers from Manchester United and Real Madrid. Meetings with both clubs are now planned for January.

We’d point out that Househ has been dropping Manchester United’s name in the media for months during negotiations, presumably to put pressure on Bayern Munich and this could be another case of that happening.

United fans are accustomed to this after years of similar with Thomas Muller, so we’re sure they may hold off on getting excited on this latest report despite it offering some positivity.
