Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei has ‘new interests from Italy’ as his options for a January transfer window exit increase.
That’s [according to Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/juventus-su-casadei-nuovi-interessamenti-dallitalia-per-lex-inte-33199), who report that it won’t only be Juventus looking at the midfielder in the winter window.
They report that Casadei has only managed to find space at Chelsea in the cup competitions this season, with Enzo Maresca using him twice from the bench in the Premier League.
The youngster has struggled to establish himself at Stamford Bridge since his arrival in 2022 but decided to stay in the summer and fight for a place under the Italian manager, who he worked with on loan at Leicester City last season.
At that point he had interest from Fiorentina and Torino but turned that down, a decision he may now regret. The feeling is that he would also ‘change his mind’ on an exit in January.
Several sides in Serie A are keen on him, with Juventus leading the list. Monza and Genoa have also inquired about him in recent weeks. Empoli are also in the mix and those in charge at the club would like to focus on younger players as well.
That means the Chelsea man may have multiple options on the table in January should he open the door to leaving Stamford Bridge.
