It’s been a long wait for the United summer signing
After suffering a broken metatarsal in pre-season, the teenager has had to wait much longer than anticipated to make his first bow in the Premier League.
There was one notable moment in his 30-minute cameo where he made a great challenge on Leandro Trossard after the Belgian tried to stand him up one-against-one. It is hoped that there will be more of that sort of thing from him in the future.
Yoro has huge potential
It’s only early days but there are clearly good reasons why the Red Devils were prepared to spend upwards of £59m on the teenager during the summer transfer window.
Yoro has all you need to become a top centre-back. He has height, pace and skill in possession, and it will be interesting to see how quickly head coach Ruben Amorim integrates him into the first team.
