La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday been afforded some timely positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that two sidelined members of Hansi Flick’s squad are back playing their part in individualised drills on the grass.
The pair in question? Ansu Fati and Andreas Christensen.
Wide-man Ansu, for his part, has been sidelined since last month, owing to a hamstring injury suffered whilst training.
Defender Christensen, meanwhile, has not taken to the pitch in a competitive setting since all the way back in August, as a result of a troublesome Achilles issue.
Amid a hectic fixture schedule for his side at present, it has in turn no doubt come as a relief for Hansi Flick to hear that both players are closing on returns to the pitch.
As confirmed by Barcelona on Friday, Ansu and Christensen are now back out on the grass together, ramping up fitness levels with a view to respective comebacks over the weeks ahead.
