Arsenal keeping close tabs on 21 year old playmaker

Arsenal have shown interest in 21 year old Spanish playmaker Alberto Moleiro. The North London club are keen to improve their attack and hence a January move can be expected too.

Arsenal have been highly tested this season due to injuries. They lacked spark in attack in the absence of Martin Odegaard. As a result, they dropped important points which pushed them back in the title race.

Odegaard is finally back and Arsenal are once again at their best. They are on 3rd position in Premier League points table and 7 points behind table toppers Liverpool. But, they have now came to a conclusion of signing more attacking players in order to have sufficient quality and depth.

Arsenal linked with Alberto Moleiro

As per Fichajes, Gunners are linked with 21 year old playmaker who has shown his worth in La Liga. Mikel Arteta has been highly rating Spanish players and hence we can expect him to monitor Moleiro.

Moleiro has been a regular first team player for Las Palmas since the last four seasons. This season he has already played 15 games. Out of those, he has started in 13 and has scored 4 goals in La Liga.

Moleiro is just 21 years old and hence can be a long-term investment for Arsenal. In addition, he is highly versatile and hence it will make him a key asset for Mikel Arteta. Moleiro can play left winger, attacking midfielder and left midfielder. He can even play as central midfielder whenever needed.

Playing in Premier League for a club like Arsenal will be a major step up in Moleiro’s career. Las Palmas may also be open to selling him next year as the player will be out of contract in 2026. But still it will not be very easy for Gunners as the 21 year old is looked upon by many top clubs.
