Chelsea have completed a deal to sign Mathis Eboue, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Rumoured for a couple of weeks and now all but wrapped up, Chelsea are set to sign the son of former Arsenal star Emmanuel Eboue. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have now officially secured the signature of Mathis Eboue.
The 15-year-old has been impressing in the academy of Championship side Watford but he can now be considered a Chelsea player, Romano reports.

Unlike his father, an Ivory Coast international, Mathis is representing England at the U16 level with distinction, recently scoring the crucial goal against France in the Pinatar Challenge Trophy in Spain.
Eboue has already featured and scored for Watford's U21s despite his youth and Chelsea moved swiftly to snap up one of English football's brightest talents.
In Eboue, Chelsea have signed an eminently talented and exciting attacker for the future, continuing their trend of securing some of the world's biggest prospects.
Since the Todd Boehly takeover in 2022, the Blues have made it their mission to collect wonderkids from all over the world. The likes of Moises Caicedo, Kendry Paez and Estevao Willian are set to star on the world stage for the next 15 years.

However, while Eboue can now be considered a Chelsea player, Romano did not mention whether the Premier League had already begun or even finished its five-step investigation into the deal.
This process generally requires a few weeks, so it could yet take some time before Chelsea can officially announce the signing of Eboue. Earlier this year, Liverpool signed highly rated Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea and the Premier League's investigation took several months.
Either way, it seems that Chelsea have snapped up another incredibly exciting young player.
