Pep Guardiola confronted a fan
A video of Pep Guardiola reacting angrily to a man who teased him following a Manchester City defeat has gone viral on social media.
A 24-second clip shows the Catalan coach walking along a street and sporting a grey suit and a rucksack while carrying bags. Guardiola's night-time pacing was disturbed by a figure filming him who said: "mate, just because you lost".
This provoked the City boss into turning around to approach the person with the camera before being held back by two people accompanying him. Guardiola's company prevented him getting near the antagoniser who had a Liverpudlian accent.
They were unable to stop Guardiola responding to the comment however. The 53-year-old was clearly angered by the interaction and was unafraid to go back even when being filmed.

"Do you know what is lost?" said Guardiola as he was guided away from the fracas. "Do you know what is lost? You want me to sign you?’
Another man, who was holding a pen and a book, continued to follow Guardiola as the Spaniard engaged with the cameraman. "Pep, please, I didn’t say that," he said.
As the former Barcelona boss was repeatedly stopped from heading towards the man who initially antagonised him. They offered a simple reply to Guardiola's words: "No, it’s fine."
While there was initially some suggestion that Guardiola's reaction was prompted by City's current form that is not the case. Instead it appears to have been an interaction from after the club's defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup final.
Guardiola’s suit and tie in the recording matches his attire for the Wembley showpiece event from May. On that occasion goals from Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho saved Erik ten Hag's job.

More recently victory over Nottingham Forest broke a seven-match winless streak for Guardiola. The City coach was certainly left relieved.
“We needed it. The club, the players, everyone needed to win," he said. “But it is just one game and in three days we are at Selhurst Park, where it has always been difficult.
“We played good. We still conceded some transitions and missed some easy things and lost some passes that you have to avoid. But in general, the most important thing was to break this routine of not winning games and we won it.”
