The Friedkin Group’s takeover is slowly coming to completion, with a matter of weeks left now.
Everton will finally be free of Farhad Moshiri soon, as the takeover is now ‘very close’ to being completed by the Friedkin Group.
Alan Myers has predicted that it could even be announced next week, though no specific date has been set at this point in time.
The prospective new owners are taking over at one of the busiest times with Christmas and the January transfer window on the horizon, but that could also prove to be a blessing if Everton get it right.
However, it looks as if one decision could be put on the backburners if what Alex Crook is suggesting comes true once the takeover is complete.
The Friedkin Group tipped to keep Sean Dyche until the end of the season
It’s been claimed that the Friedkin Group already have David Moyes lined up to replace Sean Dyche.
The issue currently is they’re not yet officially the owners of Everton, and Farhad Moshiri is believed to still have full trust in the current Everton boss.

The 4-0 win over Wolves will have taken a lot of pressure off the shoulders of Dyche, but with a tough period coming up, doubt could soon re-appear.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Interestingly, the Everton boss has now been tipped to stay at Everton until the end of the season.
According to Alex Crook, when talking on the Premier League All Access podcast, Everton could complete a huge U-turn by going back on wanting to get rid of him.
“It’s a victory that keeps the wolf from the door for a bit longer, isn’t it? Because they’re five points clear now of the relegation places and you look at the teams below them, I think Everton will be okay with or without Dyche.
“And they might decide, actually, this season Dyche is the best man just to make sure they stay in the Premier League and then maybe look to make a change in the summer to move into that fantastic new facility.”
Would keeping Sean Dyche be a smart decision?
Keeping Sean Dyche very much depends on how this tough run of fixtures goes.
This makes it even harder to bring in a new manager, as you could be setting them up for failure if their first games are against top six sides.
Dyche proved last season he can keep Everton up in impressive style, despite being handed a points deduction, and he showed plenty of bottle in his time at Burnley.
However, the football that has been played at times has been hard to watch.
David Moyes impressed at West Ham and clearly knows Everton very well, but it would take time to get the squad to where he wants it to be.
