It looks as though Arsenal could remain without Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel Magalhaes, with both players battling to return for the Fulham clash. Speaking on Sky Sports News, reporter James Cole said when reporting from London Colney on Friday: “They didn’t have Gabriel or Riccardo Calafiori for that win did they? Both have been struggling as of late.
“The bad news is that neither player has come out here on the grass at Arsenal’s training ground this morning. That said, this is not matchday minus one, they play on Sunday, it’s matchday minus two. I’m told they are training indoors. I will try to get more from Mikel Arteta on Gabriel and Calafiori’s fitness later, but he doesn’t give much away.”

Arsenal are said to be pushing for a deal to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi ahead of January, and perhaps more likely the summer window. Zubimendi reportedly rejected a move to England last summer after Arsenal and Liverpool expressed interest.
The Boot Room say Arsenal are now reigniting interest in a deal, but it’s also added that it is unclear whether the midfielder is now willing to leave Spain. Zubimendi is reportedly interested in a move to Real Madrid, with England being a very different prospect for a player who has spent his career at home.
