Bayern Munich were at multiple points close to agreeing to a transfer with Bayer Leverkusen for one of their defenders Jonathan Tah. Die Werkself priced Bayern out of the race and the player’s future is uncertain yet again. Enter FC Barcelona:
Barcelona are close to agreeing a deal to sign Jonathan Tah on a free transfer in the summer. Barça sporting director Deco travelled to Leverkusen this afternoon and met with the player and his representatives. Both parties are very satisfied after the meeting.

A little running gag is that Hansi Flick is believed to have questionable talent ID stretching back to his days with Bayern by targeting, and sometimes signing, players who don’t fit in. This continued into the German national team where he called up players like Thilo Kehrer, and it looks like it hasn’t changed with the Catalans.
