Tottenham’s form slumped further into the quagmire as they were handed a 1-0 defeat at the Vitality Stadium.
Things got worse, however, as after the full-time whistle Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou was seen having an argument with a fan at the away end.
Later, he addressed the moment.
Ange Postecoglou addresses fan altercation after Bournemouth defeat
Speaking to media after the Bournemouth game, Ange Postecoglou addressed what happened between him and the Spurs fan after the full-time whistle.
“The fans have every right to be disappointed. I got some pretty direct feedback with the way that we are going at the moment and that is rightly so,” Postecoglou said after he was jeered by Tottenham fans after the final whistle.
“I didn’t like what was being said because I’m a human being but you’re going to cop it.
“I’ve been around long enough to know that when things don’t go well you’ve got to understand the frustration and disappointment. And they’re rightly disappointed because we let a game of football get away from us. But that’s OK. I’m OK with all that.
“All I can say is I’m really disappointed and I’m determined to get it right and will keep fighting until we do.

The defeat to Bournemouth has made it one win in six for the Lilywhites across all competitions, which was their 4-0 drubbing of Man City last month.
Spurs are now tenth in the Premier League table, six points off top four. Up next for them is a home game—a local derby against second-placed Chelsea.
Back and forth
As Postecoglou has pointed out, fan frustration is justified, but abuse should always be condemned. Of course, we won’t know what exactly was said, but suffice it to say that the man from Down Under handled the situation in the press best as he could.

Still, it’s not a good look for the team in general. The fans are finally losing patience with Spurs’ naivety on the pitch, and we all know where the road takes us after that.
