'I'm disappointed in myself': Chris Sutton admits he's a 'coward' after Man United vs Forest…

Nottingham Forest are set to travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday evening.

Chris Sutton predicted a draw between Nottingham Forest and Manchester City last time, which proved incorrect as Pep Guardiola’s side won 3-0.

To the annoyance of Nottingham Forest fans, Chris Sutton described the Reds as his team after their win over Ipswich last weekend, despite slating them in weeks gone by.

The confusing thing for Forest fans is the chopping and changing of the pundit, as you surely support your team through thick and thing, regardless of results.

Nevertheless, Sutton has made his prediction for the Nottingham Forest game this weekend, with Manchester United the opposition.

Chris Sutton makes his Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest prediction

Manchester United have won one, lost one and drawn one under Ruben Amorim.

This may just be the perfect time to play Manchester United for Forest, as they’re still trying to figure things out after a change of management.

Morgan Gibbs-White is already looking forward to the match at Old Trafford, as he took to Instagram after the Manchester City loss with a three-word message.

Chris Sutton has made his prediction for Saturday’s clash, but it may not please Forest fans.

Speaking in his BBC column, he said this.

“I saw Manchester United’s defeat by Arsenal as the easiest prediction of the week, and I was right.

“That is not me taking aim at United boss Ruben Amorim, but with what he has to work with, getting anything against the very top teams is going to be really difficult. The magnitude of the job means that he will need months and months to really turn things around.

“I don’t see this game as being straightforward for United, either. Forest have already won at Anfield this season and they created chances against City on Wednesday, so I am expecting more of the same from them here.

“I am going to be a bit of a coward with my prediction, though. I backed Forest to get something at the Etihad Stadium, and I was wrong, so I am not brave enough to back them again on their return to Manchester.

“I’m disappointed in myself with this prediction to be honest, although I do think Forest will score this time.”

Sutton’s prediction: 2-1

Paul Merson’s prediction for the Manchester United clash

Paul Merson has also made his prediction for Saturday’s clash, and he slightly disagrees with what Chris Sutton has to say, as he opts for a draw.

“Forest may have lost to Manchester City the other day, but I think they will cause problems at Old Trafford. They are good down the wings and this could hurt Manchester United. I’m going for a draw here.”

The one thing Nuno needs to try and do is promote more positivity both in and out of possession against Manchester United, as fans are starting to worry about the defensive-minded tactics.

Liverpool were made to be uncomfortable at Anfield earlier on this season with the press and ability to keep the ball high up the field, but that’s not really been adopted since.
