Victor Osimhen is again at the center of a transfer tussle as reports suggest the Nigerian striker is eyeing a reunion with Cristiano Giuntoli at Juventus next summer, Soccernet.ng understands.
According to Il Mattino via Tutto Napoli, the Super Eagles star would welcome the chance to link up again with Giuntoli, the former Napoli sporting director who signed him from Lille in 2020 for €75m.
Currently on loan at Galatasaray, Osimhen has been in sensational form, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in 12 appearances.
The Turkish champions are confident he will stay until June despite a reported €90m release clause that foreign clubs can trigger in January.
Meanwhile, Juventus reportedly have a €75m option to sign him next summer, although conflicting sources claim this clause excludes Serie A clubs.
Manchester United and Arsenal are also in the mix according to Sabah via Sport Witness.
Both Premier League sides have reportedly sent scouts to monitor Osimhen, whose lethal finishing has made him a priority target.
United, struggling with inconsistency in attack, view the 25-year-old as a solution to their scoring woes.
Arsenal and Chelsea are equally keen, with the latter maintaining long-term interest in the Nigerian forward.
Osimhen, who led Napoli to a historic Serie A title in 2023, is unlikely to return to Naples after being replaced by Romelu Lukaku.
A permanent move to another top European side seems inevitable, but suitors will need to meet Napoli’s significant valuation to secure his services.
With elite European clubs circling, the coming months will determine whether Osimhen’s future lies in Turin, England, or beyond.
