Manchester United are reportedly scouting Tyler Dibling who has been earning plaudits in his Premier League breakthrough campaign.
The Exeter native has been developing his game with the Saints from a tender age. After climbing his way up the club’s ranks, he has now carved himself a regular starting berth in Russell Martin’s tactical scheme.
While the newly-promoted side has been enduring a calamitous start to the season, Dibling has been one of the few bright spots at St Mary’s Stadium.
The 18-year-old has thus far made 13 appearances in the Premier League, including eight as a starter. His solitary EPL goal came in the 1-1 draw against Ipswich.
So according to The Sun, the teenager’s early exploits have drawn the attention of Man United who have been closely monitoring him.

The source claims the Red Devils have already sent scouts to watch the young player up close and personal. If Southampton were to be relegated to the Championship at the end of the season (as their current league status suggests), it could allow United to poach the youngster’s services for a relatively low price.
However, the newspaper warns Man Utd about competition from Aston Villa who are also keeping a close eye on the England U21 starlet.
Dibling is a left-footed player who is mostly deployed as an inverted right winger. However, he can also feature as a classic winger on the left flank, or an attacking midfielder.
This report emerges at a time when Antony is being tipped to leave Man United in case the club were to receive a suitable offer.
