Chelsea are currently flying high in the Premier League table as they sit second in the table, just seven points behind leaders Liverpool.
Under Enzo Maresca, the Blues have gone from strength to strength and will be optimistic of a top-four finish at the very least this season.
Chelsea are currently level on points with Arsenal and an exciting title and top-four race is taking shape with numerous clubs in the running.
The Blues are next in action on Sunday as they face Tottenham Hotspur and, ahead of the game, Maresca was eager to compare one of his midfielders to Declan Rice.

Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo ‘can sit at that table’ alongside Declan Rice and Rodri
The Chelsea boss raved about Moises Caicedo, who has gone from strength to strength under Maresca and is now living up to his potential.
Chelsea signed Caicedo for £115million after his heroics with Brighton & Hove Albion, but it took a while for him to get settled at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal’s Declan Rice and Manchester City’s Rodri have since become the standout No. 6s in the Premier League.
However, with Rodri out for the season and Rice starting to find his feet after a slow start to the season, Maresca believes Caicedo now “can sit at that table” too.
“He is for sure now at that level,” Maresca told the Evening Standard, when asked how Caicedo compares to the likes of Rice and Rodri. “No doubt.
“Unfortunately, Rodri is injured but Declan is playing. But I think Moises can sit at that table with that kind of midfielder.”
Chelsea making mockery of pre-season predictions
Chelsea have made a mockery of a fair few pre-season predictions to get themselves in Premier League title contention after 14 games.
The likes of Jamie Carragher suggested that Chelsea had made a mistake in appointing Maresca but he has been a revelation at Stamford Bridge.
Although Maresca has made it clear that he doesn’t consider the Blues to be title contenders this season, fans will nonetheless be keen to see where this adventure takes them.
After all, former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri always played down Leicester City’s title hopes in the 2015-16 campaign – and they won against all odds by 10 points.
