Manchester United have hinted that Joshua Zirkzee could return to the team against Nottingham Forest after being benched by Ruben Amorim for the midweek defeat to Arsenal.
Rasmus Hojlund replaced Zirkzee in the starting lineup at the Emirates Stadium in one of six changes from the side that beat Everton. Marcus Rashford also dropped out for Alejandro Garnacho, with Mason Mount and Manuel Ugarte coming into the midfield instead of Casemiro and the suspended Kobbie Mainoo.
Harry Maguire also deputized for Lisandro Martinez, the other absentee through suspension, while Amad dropped out for Tyrell Malacia. Of those available for selection, Casemiro was the only one Amorim did not turn to as a second-half substitute for United.

However, the midfielder has hinted at his involvement against Forest on Saturday morning. On his Instagram story, Casemiro shared a graphic ahead of the game, notably detailing when it will kick off in his native Brazil.
However, it is worth noting that the player also did likewise in midweek. Diogo Dalot shared a similar post before the Arsenal match—in which he played the full 90 minutes—and did so again on Friday night for the Forest game.
The club also posted a graphic featuring Zirkzee on Saturday morning. However, a comparable post before the Arsenal defeat focused on Rashford despite the forward not ultimately starting.
Amorim has named a different front three in all four of his matches in charge of United so far, which could well become five out of five for the visit of Forest. Martinez and Mainoo are also available for selection again, potentially leading to more changes in midfield and defence, especially in the aftermath of a first defeat.
Malacia also made way at half-time in north London, the second straight time that has happened when he has started. Amad would assumedly return from the start instead.
