Sevilla fans have urged the club to make a move for Bournemouth striker Enes Unal in the January transfer window to solve their goalscoring problems.
That’s [according to Mucho Deporte](https://www.muchodeporte.com/sevilla-fc/81760/encuesta-muchodeporte-enes-unal-el-preferido/), who have run a poll on the matter and been given a clear answer by the Sevilla fanbase.
The newspaper reports that the Spanish side need a striker, with the recent Copa del Rey clash against Olot proving as much. That’s largely down to Kelechi Iheanacho, whose physical status has been deemed ‘far from adequate’.
That’s led to a reliance on Dodi Lukebakio, something Sevilla want to fix with a signing in the January transfer window.
Two reports in November already put them in the mix for the Bournemouth striker, with the last stating that negotiations were already underway to try and make the transfer happen in January.
Mucho Deporte put that idea to the Sevilla fans and 1308 votes were cast, with the Turkish triker favoured by 31.3% of them. His 410 put him ahead of Umar Sadiq at Real Sociedad on 24.5%, Mateo Mejía, a Sevilla youth player who got 20.3% and even Ansu Fati, who got 13.3% of the votes.
That should encourage the Spanish club to make their move, although whether Bournemouth would sanction the type of deal that cash strapped Sevilla would want is another matter entirely.
