Hour-by-hour Met Office Storm Darragh forecast after Man Utd and Man City postponement…

A general view inside Old Trafford

Old Trafford will host Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening

Manchester United and Manchester City are both set to be in action today, but Storm Darragh could have other ideas. The Merseyside Derby has already been postponed due to adverse weather conditions and that has seen concerns over other Premier League games being called off rise significantly.

Alongside games for Man United and Manchester City, against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace respectively, Brentford vs Newcastle and Aston Villa vs Southampton are also set to take place. Following Everton's announcement their clash against Liverpool was postponed, Palace and United have also released statements.

"Today’s Premier League fixture at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest is scheduled to go ahead as planned," United wrote on X. "The club will continue to consult the relevant authorities throughout the day and will update supporters immediately if anything changes.

"We understand that fan travel will be disrupted by the weather so this fixture will not be included in the minimum number of games a season that season tickets must be used." Palace meanwhile, welcome Man City to Selhurst Park two hours earlier and subsequently posted their own amid postponement worries.

Their statement read: "Today's fixture at Selhurst Park is scheduled to go ahead as planned. We advise all supporters to plan their journey in advance and take care travelling to and from the stadium." Though both clubs appear hopeful the games will go ahead, the bad weather is not stopping any time soon.

With that being said, MEN Sport has pulled together the forecast for each hour on Saturday with City in action at 3pm and United playing at 5.30pm.
