Chelsea making summer plans for incoming 17-year-old South American prodigy, ponder one…

Chelsea are considering sending Estevao Willian out on loan once he joins the club in the 2025 summer transfer window.

Chelsea have already started planning for the 2025 summer transfer window. They are preparing plans for Estevao Willian, who will be joining them ahead of the 2024/25 season. According to a report from Fichajes, the Blues are contemplating whether to send him out on loan to continue his development as a player.

The 17-year-old winger has come up the ranks at Palmeiras. He got promoted to their first team at the start of the year and has not looked back since. So far, the teenager has featured in 45 matches for their senior side and has contributed towards 25 goals (15 goals, 10 assists).

Estevao Willian was already a big name in Brazilian football coming up the ranks at Palmeiras, and multiple top clubs from across Europe were monitoring him ahead of a potential transfer. The London club went hard to secure his services and they struck a deal with the Brazilian club back in the summer.

Chelsea agreed to pay a massive €34 million to sign the youngster, who is considered to be the biggest talent Brazil has seen in years. The Blues have long prioritised signing top young talent from around the globe, and this teenager is one of the players they feel could do wonders for them.

Chelsea are considering a loan move for Estevao Willian

While Estevao will be officially moving to Stamford Bridge next summer, the decision-makers at Chelsea are a bit concerned about his future. Given the amount of quality they have in their squad, the teenager will find it very difficult to get any game time.

Despite all the quality and the kind of potential Estevao Willian has, adjusting to life in the Premier League and limited game time will cause problems. As a result, the Blues are thinking about sending him out on loan to ensure he continues his development at a similar rate.

The West London club want to ensure they do not put any unnecessary pressure on the youngster and allow him to adjust to life in Europe before competing for a place in the Chelsea starting XI.
