Now that the January transfer window is only a few weeks away, there are several Chelsea players that are being linked with potential moves away from Stamford Bridge.
The Chelsea squad is looking in an extremely healthy place right now, which is why they’re second in the Premier League and top of the Conference League group phase. However, there’s one or two players struggling for game time.
Carney Chukwuemeka is tipped to leave Chelsea in January. In fairness, the midfielder has only made four appearances across all competitions this season.
Now, a Blues first-team defender has been linked with a rival club in the Premier League.

West Ham interested in signing Tosin Adarabioyo
According to Foot Mercato, West Ham are interested in signing Chelsea’s Tosin Adarabioyo in the upcoming transfer window.
It is explained that Premier League side West Ham are determined to strengthen their defensive options, so have set their sights on the 27-year-old Blues centre-back.
The report says that the Hammers are aiming to sign the Chelsea central defender on loan. Apparently, Tosin may be tempted by a switch to the London Stadium to play more football.
Tosin, who moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer on a free transfer, hasn’t forced his way into Chelsea’s best XI yet. He’s still played 11 games across all competitions during his debut season, though.

Blues head coach Enzo Maresca has spoken glowingly about the centre-half several times this year, too.
Maresca called Tosin one of the “leaders” at Chelsea because he’s one of the more experienced heads in an extremely young squad.
Should Chelsea consider getting rid of Tosin?
Without a doubt, Chelsea shouldn’t entertain the idea of letting Tosin leave the club midway through the season.
The towering defender is proving to be a handy player within the group, allowing the manager to rotate freely at the back. This included a solid 90-minute performance in midweek as the Blues won 5-1 away at Southampton in the league.

Chelsea believe Tosin was a smart summer signing for them on a free transfer after he left Fulham. So far this season, he’s meeting expectations and proving he’s useful to the squad.
