Manchester United have provided an update on their upcoming Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest set for Saturday, despite whispers of potential postponements circulating after Everton's Merseyside derby with Liverpool was called off.
Ruben Amorim's team will welcome Forest at Old Trafford for the 5.30pm kick-off, and while there have been murmurs about the match being under threat, there's confirmation that, as things stand, it will proceed as scheduled.
The club reached out to fans via their official matchday information X, formerly known as their Twitter account, to assure that the fixture is still going ahead, advising fans they will be kept in the loop should anything change.

The statement issued read: "Today's Premier League fixture at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest is scheduled to go ahead as planned. The club will continue to consult the relevant authorities throughout the day and will update supporters immediately if anything changes."
"We understand that fan travel will be disrupted by the weather so this fixture will not be included in the minimum number of games a season that season tickets must be used.", reports the Manchester Evening News.
In addition to the Merseyside derby, a total of SIX EFL matches have been scrapped due to Storm Darragh's unwelcome arrival.
