Leicester City are set to welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Chris Sutton predicted Leicester City to lose to West Ham United in Ruud van Nistelrooy’s first game in charge of the club by a 2-1 scoreline.
That proved to be inaccurate as the Foxes were able to come away with a 3-1 victory thanks to goals from Jamie Vardy, Bilal El Khannouss and Patson Daka.
While it was a big three points secured against the Hammers, Brighton are in much better form right now and it’s hard to see Leicester getting much out of the game.
Van Nistelrooy’s men are sitting 16th in the Premier League table ahead of the weekend’s matches getting underway, with the Seagulls up in fifth.
Now, Sutton has made his prediction for the Leicester game with Brighton, which kicks off at 2pm on December 8th.

Chris Sutton makes his Leicester City vs Brighton prediction
Brighton are firmly in contention to secure some form of European football this season.

They sit fifth after 14 games and only three points outside of the Champions League places.
However, the South Coast outfit’s recent form is nothing to write home about, winning two, drawing one and losing two.
Brighton were most recently beaten 3-1 by Fulham on Thursday and the extra rest could give Leicester the edge on Sunday.
However, when speaking in his BBC column, Sutton warned Van Nistelrooy he has ‘a hell of job on his hands’ to keep the Foxes up, while also backing Leicester to lose.
He said: “I am not fooled by what Leicester did against West Ham, as big a win as it was for them.
“The Hammers wasted so many chances, and the Foxes’ defensive issues have clearly not gone away.
“Well done to new Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy, but he has got a hell of a job on his hands to keep them up.
“I did not see Brighton’s defeat at Fulham coming, because the Seagulls have been so impressive. They will be angry after that performance, and looking to prove a point. Away win, no doubt about it.”

Paul Merson’s prediction for Leicester City vs Brighton
As well as Sutton, Paul Merson made his score prediction for Leicester vs Brighton this weekend.
And unfortunately for Foxes fans, the former Arsenal and Middlesbrough player largely agrees with Sutton.
Merson predicted a 3-1 win for Brighton and also questioned Leicester’s ability to avoid the drop this season.
He said: “The big problem with them is that when they get beat, they get completely blown away. I just find that trend worrying, that’s their problem.
“This was quite evident in the games against Chelsea and Nottingham Forest. I’d be shocked if Leicester stay up, I don’t see that happening at all. Conceding 20 shots in a game and winning every week is going to be hard. Brighton could rip them to shreds in this clash.”
Leicester could move seven points clear of the relegation zone with a win against the Seagulls but every pundit commenting on the game seems to think that’s unlikely.
