There is absolutely no chance of Tosin Adarabioyo leaving Chelsea in January, according to a report.
The Blues defender has struggled for regular minutes in the Premier League following his summer arrival on a free transfer. Signed on a Bosman from Fulham, Tosin's signing was welcomed as a shrewd piece of business by fans and pundits alike.
However, so far, the 27-year-old has made just five measly appearances in league play as he is primarily utilised by coach Enzo Maresca in the Conference League and cup competitions.
Given that the centre-back arrived at Stamford Bridge with the ambition of taking the next step in his career, his lack of minutes has given rise to some speculation over his future.
On Friday, the former Man City prospect was linked with a quick departure from Chelsea as West Ham were said to be keen on a January loan.
Tosin going nowhere
However, Allnigeriasoccer.com reports 'with certainty' that the player is going nowhere in the winter window. Having presumably made contact with Tosin's camp - he is eligible to play for the Super Eagles - the outlet reveals that he remains 'fully committed' to Chelsea.
It is asserted that there is simply 'no truth' in the West Ham rumours and that Adarabioyo has 'no plans to leave Stamford Bridge.' The report points to the fact that he has been part of all but one of Maresca's matchday squads as proof that he is firmly in the Italian's plans.
To date, Tosin has made 11 appearances for the west London giants, playing the full 90 minutes in all of Chelsea's Conference League games with the exception of the match against Panathinaikos. A January departure after just six months at the club appears highly unlikely at present.
