Euro giants keen on 21-year-old forgotten Chelsea prospect, conditions for move revealed

Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has been linked with a move away from the West London club in recent months.

Scottish giants Celtic are prepared to provide Carney Chukwuemeka with an exit route. According to Football Insider, Celtic could look to sign him during the January transfer window on loan and they are expecting Chelsea to contribute to his wages.

The 21-year-old has struggled for regular game time at Stamford Bridge and it would be ideal for him to head out on loan and gain some valuable first-team experience. A move to Scotland could be ideal for him.

Chukwuemeka is highly rated across England and he has a bright future ahead of himself. If he can improve with regular game time at Celtic, he might have a better chance of breaking into the starting lineup next season. The midfielder needs to play at this stage of his career and sitting on the bench at Stamford Bridge is unlikely to benefit his development.

Meanwhile, Celtic need more quality and depth in the midfield as well and the 21-year-old would be a quality long-term addition. It will be interesting to see if they are able to convince Chelsea to accept their terms.

Chukwuemeka would be useful for Celtic

Signing the talented young midfielder on loan in January would be an inexpensive addition and it would help them at quality and depth through the site as well. Brendan Rodgers has done well to nurture talented young players throughout his managerial career and he could play a key role in the development of the Chelsea player.

The midfielder has the physical and technical attributes to improve the Scottish giants and the opportunity to play for Celtic could be quite exciting for him as well.

The central midfielder has made just 4 appearances for Chelsea this season and he needs more opportunities in order to showcase his true qualities.

It remains to be seen whether Celtic and Chelsea can secure an agreement in the coming weeks. It would be an ideal move for the player and both clubs. Chelsea will not be able to provide him with ample first-team opportunities and it would make sense for them to send the player out on loan. Even if they do not see him as a long-term part of their plans, a successful loan spell could enhance his valuation and allow Chelsea to sell him for a substantial amount of money in future.
