Barcelona stumbled once again in La Liga as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Real Betis at Estadio Benito Villamarin.
The Blaugrana came into the game on the back of a 5-1 win over RCD Mallorca and started the game with Robert Lewandowski opening the scoring.
However, around the hour mark, Real Betis equalised from the penalty spot via Giovani Lo Celso after Vitor Roque was fouled by Frenkie de Jong.
Ferran Torres put Barça ahead again with less than ten minutes left only for Assane Diao to level things up for the hosts in stoppage time.
Ferran self-critical
Speaking to the media after the game, Ferran Torres was critical of Barcelona’s performance, especially in the first half.
“It’s true that in the first half, we weren’t at our best. We improved somewhat in the second half, but we failed to close out the game when we took the lead,” said the Barça attacker.

On the penalty incident, the Spanish international commented that he was far away from the incident and that there may have been something.
“I was far away. He took the boot off him. If they protested so much, something can be interpreted,” said Ferran.
Finally, Ferran elaborated on his celebration wherein he dedicated his goal for the victims of the DANA in Valencia and the volunteers who helped those affected.
“I wanted to thank the volunteers who came to help and this should not be forgotten. I simply wanted to show my gratitude to the people who have supported us.”
