One Leicester City player is expected to garner a lot of transfer interest as he continues to shine.
Ruud van Nistelrooy was handed an unwanted Leicester City January transfer prediction by a finance expert recently.
Owing to the Foxes’ poor financial situation, it was claimed that the club would likely sell more players than they would sign in January.
In turn, we took a look at the three Leicester players most likely to be sold in January to help their PSR situation and maybe make room for new signings.
Boubakary Soumare is a potential option to leave amid previous transfer interest in him and the Midlands outfit having plenty of competition in midfield.
Michael Golding is struggling for playing time at Leicester as well and despite signing less than six months ago, could be sold.
Elsewhere, if the Foxes are looking to earn some serious cash in the next window or two, Mads Hermansen could be moved on.

Mads Hermansen tipped for Leicester City exit
Hermansen joined Leicester in the summer of 2023 from Danish side Bröndby IF for around £7m.

He made 44 appearances during the club’s promotion-winning campaign in the Championship, keeping 13 clean sheets.
The 24-year-old has maintained his starting berth in the current season but has managed just one shutout so far – versus Bournemouth in October – and has conceded 28 goals in 14 games.
Despite this, BT journalist Lasse Voge recently claimed that he expects Hermansen to have transfer interest in the summer, while also tipping the goalkeeper to end up being among the best in the world in his position.
He said: “I will personally be surprised if there is no rift over Hermansen’s signature this summer. Regardless of whether Leicester are relegated or not.
“I was personally excited to see if he could take the level from the Championship up to the world’s best league. He has taken that step as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
“And with the level he is now at, not many further steps are needed before he is right up among the best goalkeepers in the world. He has the whole package – also the game with his feet.”

Leicester City fans in agreement about Mads Hermansen
Leicester go into their weekend meeting with Brighton with the third-worst defensive record in the Premier League.
Only two sides currently in the relegation zone – Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers – have shipped more.
But while the Foxes’ backline is a concern, fans are not blaming their goalkeeper in any way.
In fact, after the win over West Ham, Leicester fans were wowed by Hermansen and backed him to become one of the best in the Premier League.
Hermansen was labeled ‘top’ after the defeat to Arsenal by one BBC journalist earlier this season as well.
The shot-stopper is currently under contract at the King Power until 2028 and it would be a real shame if his form led to him not seeing out that deal.
