Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says the title race is out of the discussion as his side continue to struggle for form following a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace.
City managed to claw back a point after coming from behind twice against Oliver Glasner's side at Selhurst Park thanks to goals from Erling Haaland and Rico Lewis. However, Guardiola's side found themselves go down to 10 men with six minutes to go after Lewis received two yellow cards in the space of 14 minutes.
City currently sit fourth in the table, eight points behind Liverpool who remain top of the Premier League table. Despite there being a long way to go in the season, Guardiola sees no way back for his side.
The City boss told BBC Sport : "We take a point. We fought incredible and came back twice. It's a season to suffer. We'll see what happens in the last month.
"We tried. Big compliment for the opponent. We cannot talk about the title race when we lose four games in a row and draw. We'll try to recover players. We'll see in the last month.
"We have to do more games to be consistent. It's difficult in the situation we have. I'm really pleased for the players - they fought and did everything."

Pep Guardiola has admitted his side are suffering
City has won just one game in six matches after securing their first victory since October over Nottingham Forest midweek. Many people thought they would be on a comeback, however after adding Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji to their injury list, City struggled to dominate Palace.
A point will feel like a loss to City and with their next fixture being the Manchester Derby against United, its set to be another difficult fixture for the Sky Blues.
Liverpool.com says: Guardiola's comments should be taken with a pinch of salt. There is still a long way to go in the Premier League season and City often bounce back eventually after a difficult run of form. They also have the chance to bolster their squad in January so they're not out of the title race just yet.
