Liverpool are likely to be active in the upcoming transfer window as Arne Slot aims to fine-tune his squad.
His first summer transfer window turned out to be quite uneventful on the incomings front, with Federico Chiesa the only player who walked through the door at Anfield.
The Reds did agree a deal to sign Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia, but the Georgian goalkeeper will only arrive at the club in 2025.
There has been a lot of speculation involving potential arrivals in recent weeks as we edge closer to the January transfer window.
And Liverpool have just been offered fresh hope of signing a player they have long kept tabs on.

After Martin Zubimendi rejected a move to Anfield in the summer, the Reds decided against pursuing alternatives, instead opting to use Ryan Gravenberch as a number six.
However, Georgiy Sudakov has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in the past as reports suggested the Anfield giants are ready to press ahead with a move for him in October.
And now, his agent Vadim Shabliy has come out and said the Ukrainian international is ready for a move to a top club, with Shakhtar Donetsk open to offers for their prized asset.

“Georgiy is a player with a great future,” said Shabliy in an interview with Standard Sport.
“He, like most footballers, wants to try his hand at the top championships. It is absolutely normal when a player wants to grow professionally. Previously, Serie A giants and others were interested in him.
“Now, teams from the Premier League are actively showing interest in him. I am sure that when we are all ready to move on, Georgiy will move to a top club.
“You know, from experience, I can say that in life everything happens on time – we, Shakhtar and the player are open to offers. And that means there is a high probability that we will soon be able to see Georgiy in the top leagues.”
Sudakov is valued at £55m and has been described as a ‘superb’ player as he continues to deliver the goods consistently for club and country.
Do Liverpool need Sudakov?
Primarily an attacking midfielder, Sudakov can also play slightly deeper, so he’d have to compete with the likes of Harvey Elliott, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Curtis Jones for a spot in the team.

Liverpool are already well-stacked in that position and would be best advised to target a player who can play as a number six to provide cover and competition for Gravenberch.
Wataru Endo and Tyler Morton can play that role, but judging by how the season has gone so far, it doesn’t seem like Slot is a big fan of them.
Nevertheless, Sudakov’s agent has issued a bit of a come-and-get-me plea and it remains to be seen if Liverpool – or any of his other suitors – react.
