Liverpool have had to let some supremely talented footballers leave the club in recent years.
Indeed, the Reds have had to say goodbye to the likes of Roberto Firmino and James Milner in recent years, while Thiago Alcantara left the club over the summer.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been building his dream Liverpool player made up of a number of attributes, and, inevitably, he picked Thiago as the player with the best right-foot he’s ever seen.
Thiago Alcantara has been named as one of the most skilful players ever recently by Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah.
However, Alexander-Arnold did give a shoutout to another former Liverpool player for their technique on their right foot.
Indeed, according to the full-back, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was a player who had unbelievable technique at Liverpool, comparable to Thiago’s.

Trent Alexander-Arnold hails Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s technique
Alexander-Arnold spoke about which of his former teammates had the best right foot.
The defender named Thiago as the best player in this category, but he did reserve some praise for Oxlade-Chamberlain.
“I’ll say Thiago. He was an unbelievable player wasn’t he. The Ox, his technique was incredible you know, that outside of the boot,” Alexander-Arnold said.
What happened to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain?
As Alexander-Arnold says, at one point, Oxlade-Chamberlain was one of the most talented players at Liverpool.
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s highlight reel from his time at Anfield is excellent to watch.
Unfortunately, as has been the story for so many players over the years, Oxlade-Chamberlain struggled with a string of injuries towards the end of his time at Anfield, and, ultimately, that led to his release.
Now, at the age of 31, Oxlade-Chamberlain is playing in Turkey for Besiktas, and, sadly, injuries continue to be a problem as he’s played just one game this season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was linked with West Ham in the summer, and a return to England would probably be best for the midfielder, but, given his fitness problems over the years, it may be tough to convince any team to take a chance on him.
At just 31, Oxlade-Chamberlain is far from being finished in his career, but, sadly, it looks like he won’t return to the standard he once promised to reach when he was in his pomp at Liverpool.
