Morgan Gibbs-White gives his honest opinion on Andre Onana after horror moment in Man United vs …

Morgan Gibbs-White grabbed a goal and an assist at Old Trafford, and after the game he gave his honest opinion on Andre Onana’s effort in-between the sticks.

Nottingham Forest got their European bid back on track with a win over Manchester United.

The Reds were quick out of the traps as Nikola Milenkovic found the back of the net after two minutes, and then Morgan Gibbs-White netted just after half-time, before Chris Wood broke his record.

Jota Silva was one of the standout performers for Nottingham Forest, despite failing to get on the scoresheet, as he linked everything in the final third and constantly drove at the defence.

One player who didn’t have the best of evenings was Manchester United’s Andre Onana, who was at fault for Gibbs-White’s strike in the second half.

Morgan Gibbs-White gives his honest opinion on Andre Onana

Andre Onana has often made silly mistakes in the past. Today’s wasn’t the prettiest as he almost just seemed to fall over and give up trying to save the ball, despite it being straight down the middle.

Gibbs-White will take it anyway, as that’s now his second goal in the Premier League.

He stated that he’s a brilliant goalkeeper but he was shocked that he didn’t manage to save it.

“I didn’t at all to be fair, I don’t wanna discredit Onana, he’s a great keeper, incredible goalkeeper. But when I first took the shot, I thought he’s just going to pick it up, but it went in.

“But you know, you count them don’t you”

Morgan Gibbs-White’s performance in numbers against Manchester United

Morgan Gibbs-White wasn’t at his best in the first-half as he’d lose the ball easy and couldn’t get his creative juices flowing, but in the second-half he got better.

Forest fans have been a bit disappointed in Gibbs-White recently. However, this was a step in the right direction.

His stats don’t look too bad either. According to SofaScore, Gibbs-White won five duels, made one clearance, one interception, completed two dribbles, scored one, assisted one and made one key pass.

There are still improvements to be had, but at least we saw glimpses tonight.
