It seems bad to jump onto the “Break up the Trail Blazers” bandwagon one day after a 141-99 loss to the hapless [Utah Jazz](https://www.slcdunk.com), but the topic is swirling around Portland today, so let’s address it.
We all know the Blazers aren’t going to win much this season. We all know they’re not capable of trading for the franchise superstar they need with the pieces they have. They’re going to have to hope for help in the [NBA Draft](https://www.sbnation.com/nba-draft) or watch one of their current young players make a big leap.
That doesn’t mean trades are impossible or impractical right now, though. Rationales abound for moving one or more players off of the roster: acquiring young assets, shaking up the roster, and the dreaded “addition by subtraction”, to name a few.
So we’re asking, if you could nominate ONE (1) Trail Blazers player to move elsewhere before this season’s trade deadline, who would it be?
We mean that ONE (1) limitation seriously. Don’t bother naming two or three players in your comment. Anyone could do that. You have to narrow down to your prized candidate for the move. Share that name with us and your rationale for choosing that player above all others. We’ll look forward to reading your comments below!
