Manchester City 2, Erling Haaland 30’, Rico Lewis 68’, Red Card 84’,
Crystal Palace 2, Daniel Munoz 4’, Maxence Lacroix 56’
Welcome to your quick recap.
Manchester City are leaving this week with a pretty solid result all things considered. Would we have wanted a win, yes, but the club needs to string together results and this draw contributes to that. Crystal have been a thorn in our side for many year and this draw away is not a bad result.
A match that had a similar feel to most City matches, yet resulted in some better play for the team as the intensity was present early. It was a bit disjointed at points, but it was a decent result that we can take going forward as signs of improvement are there.
One where City was in control with possession and chances created . They played a very tight match and are now sitting in a better spot than before and can only get better.
City had so many players who played well this time and that includes some lineup choices that were forced by injury & sickness.
Two players of note who did play well and were lively were Mateus Nunes, and Erling Haaland who showed up well here.
The story of the night is that City get a solid result and we can move on to hopefully better times after that rough stretch.
A seemingly decent result and we move.
