However, Arsenal stood firm in August, informing the player and his agents that he would not be leaving north London despite various approaches, according to the Mirror.
Bologna and Villarreal were interested in a loan deal for Kiwior, but Mikel Arteta was unwilling to deplete his squad, expecting the centre-back to get opportunities throughout the lengthy campaign. Despite being on the periphery of Arteta's squad, Arsenal still appreciate his versatility and intend to retain Kiwior until at least the end of the season when his future can be re-evaluated.
