Ruben Amorim will be desperate to return to winning ways when Manchester United face Viktoria Plzen. The Red Devils will have a few days on the training pitches at Carrington before they jet off to the Czech Republic and look to climb the Europa League table.
After enjoying a three-match unbeaten streak to kickstart his tenure as United boss, Amorim has now lost back-to-back games. The Red Devils suffered a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium earlier this week before losing 3-2 to Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The last time the Portuguese tactician lost two matches in a row, he then went on a 17-game unbeaten run, winning 16 and drawing once. So, with that being said, the Manchester Evening News has looked at United's upcoming fixtures and how they compare to their rivals.

Amorim will be determined to set the record straight after disappointing defeats to Arsenal and Forest. United are yet to lose in the Europa League this season, yet they sit 12th and outside the automatic qualification places.
Manchester City (A) – Premier League – Sunday, December 15
The Manchester derby. The big one. Pep Guardiola's side has been really struggling lately, so this could be the perfect chance to pile on the misery and secure the bragging rights over the Premier League champions.
Tottenham Hotspur (A) – Carabao Cup – Thursday, December 19
Another tough game for United. While Spurs have also been unimpressive recently, they're no walkovers. While the Carabao Cup may not be the most attractive piece of silverware in the trophy cabinet, this competition could give Amorim's side a much-needed lift.

There are some really exciting players at Molineux, but Wolves have been struggling lately under Gary O'Neil. The 41-year-old faces an uncertain future, so there's every chance that he may no longer be in the dugout when United come to town on Boxing Day.
