Hojlund: We have to put it right

The Reds were beaten 3-2 by high-flying Nottingham Forest on Saturday at Old Trafford, having conceded goals at the start of both the first and second half.

Despite strikes from both our no.9 and Bruno Fernandes across the 90 minutes, Forest held on valiantly in the final stages to record a rare win in M16.

Rasmus showed his disappointment when speaking to MUTV after the encounter and admitted all our attention must now turn towards a big period.

## Hojlund: We conceded irritating goals

Rasmus Hojlund insists United have a collective responsibility to do better, after Saturday's home loss...

"No, not at all," replied the Dane, when it was suggested this was not the result we wanted.

"[It is] annoying to concede three at home against Forest. We sort of knew if they should get something and [we conceded] some irritating goals, you could say.

"Then again, we need to do better, all of us. It is all of us and we need to do better. Today, it could have been much, much better."

Quickfire goals from Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood meant United had something of a mountain to climb with just over an hour to play, with Fernandes notching soon after.

But following repeated lulls in proceedings, including a technical malfunction affecting an assistant referee's equipment, the game ebbed away and Nuno Espirito Santo's side were able to wind the clock down at the Theatre of Dreams.

Hojlund confessed that the manner in which we did concede frustrated both he and his team-mates overall, as we were often chasing the game.

## Ruben: We had more heart than quality

Ruben Amorim has his say on the defeat to Forest, citing the challenge created by conceding early in both halves...

"It is a bit annoying, as they scored early in the second half and also early in the first half, which is sort of killing the momentum a little bit and the confidence as well," Rasmus added.

"I think we played alright in the first half after we get the first goal.

"It killed the game a little bit that they got their two goals but, then again when we play at home, when we still have 35 minutes left, we have to do more to see if we could have at least got a point."
