Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has urged his side to improve [after being held to a 2-2 draw by Real Betis on Saturday in La Liga](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/12/7/24312981/real-betis-barcelona-la-liga-final-score-match-report-recap-reactions).
The German warned his side they were “too slow” and “relied on long balls” at the Benito Villamarin and wants more quality from his players.
Here’s what he had to say:
> “It wasn’t a really good game but we have a young team and we must improve a lot. That’s what we have to do and away from home, as we have seen in recent results and also today, we must be stronger. It’s up to us to improve on that,” he told reporters.

> “We know we have the quality to win, but we have to prove it. We need to pass the ball faster, today we were too slow and relied on long balls a lot. This is not one of our strengths, and we have to change it.”
The draw continues a patch of shaky form for the Catalan giants. Flick’s side will now hope to improve as they finish the year with games against Dortmund, Leganes and Atletico.
