Morgan Gibbs-White anticipated that Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana was going to gather his shot that led to him scoring Nottingham Forest's second goal in their 3-2 win at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.
After Rasmus Hojlund had wiped out Nikola Milenkovic's early opener in the first half, Forest reclaimed the lead less than two minutes into the start of the second half when Gibbs-White took aim from the edge of the penalty area.
His effort was aimed straight at Onana, who has been excellent for United so far this season, but the Cameroonian somehow misread the flight of the ball and watched it fly past him.

It was a bizarre moment and the United shot-stopper did little to cover himself in glory for Forest's third goal, either. A lack of communication between him and Lisandro Martinez allowed Chris Wood's looping header to drop in at the far post.
And speaking post-match, Gibbs-White, who made his England debut earlier this season, admitted he was not expecting to wheel away celebrating after taking aim at Onana's goal immediately after the restart.
"I didn't [think it was going in] at all, to be fair," Gibbs-White told Sky Sports. "I don't want to discredit Onana, he's an incredible goalkeeper, but when I had the shot, I thought he was going to pick it up.
"But hey, you count them, don't you? I'm happy to contribute to the team."
Forest came out flying at the start of the second half, racing into a 3-1 lead within nine minutes of the restart. Gibbs-White felt that was as a result of half-time instructions that were passed to him and teammate Wood.
Explaining what was said in the Forest dressing room at half-time, Gibbs-White added: "For me and Woody to stay more narrow so we could control their two midfielders and then press from the wingers. We got them on the counter a couple of times and that was the game plan."
