With no Premier League fixture for Liverpool this weekend, fans' focus has turned towards the January transfer window.
Saturday's Merseyside derby at Goodison Park was postponed amid safety fears due to Storm Darragh, with Arne Slot and Co. unable to respond immediately to Wednesday's dramatic 3-3 draw away to Newcastle. The Reds will travel to Spain to face Girona in the Champions League on Tuesday, but between now and then, there's expected to be plenty of transfer talk.
The futures of out-of-contract trio Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are continuing to be the subject of speculation, with each of them allowed to sign a pre-contract agreement with an overseas club from January 1. That could prompt Liverpool's recruitment team to get busy with making new signings.
Here's a round-up of the latest transfer news from Anfield.

Liverpool leading Thuram race
Liverpool have been named the frontrunners in the race to sign Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram. Having arrived on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach two years ago, 27-year-old Thuram has become one of Serie A's most deadly forwards and helped Inter win the Italian title last season.
With 11 goals in 19 league appearances this season, the Frenchman has interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool. But it's the Reds who lead the race, according to Calciomercato, with Thuram boasting an €85million (£70.5m) release clause in his contract which runs until 2028.

Reds receive Salah warning
Liverpool have been warned that Mo Salah's contract saga could cost them the Premier League title, as they might face a big decision in the January transfer window. Salah, 32, would leave for free in June 2025 if he doesn't sign a new deal, whereas the Reds could recoup some cash if they sell him next month.
That's a conundrum which former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen has put forward, telling OLBG: "What I will say about Salah is that his future could be the reason they don't win the title. If a genuine offer comes in, maybe a huge bid from Saudi Arabia, during January and Liverpool decide they don't want to lose him for free – him walking out the door could cost them the title."

Kelleher's coach confirms transfer interest
Republic of Ireland assistant manager John O'Shea says that he knows for a 'fact' Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has interest from other clubs. Kelleher handed in a transfer request over the summer but Arne Slot chose to keep him - and it's been a worthwhile decision.
In the absence of Alisson Becker, the 26-year-old has stepped up. But Kelleher could still be on his way out, as O'Shea told Premier Sports Ireland: "He's going to have lots of teams all around Europe looking for him and I'm sure they'll be knocking down the doors very soon. I know for a fact there will be lots more teams looking at him because I just think he's a number one, top European goalkeeper."
